Mr. Mark Akwenah Nyeamene, Jr. is the General Manager/DCEO of the Bank. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Banking and Financial Services from the University of Reading, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Liberia. He also holds certificates in Credit and Finance from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain; Building SME Banking Business, The World Bank Institute & International Finance Corporation, Cape Town, South Africa; Interest Free (Islamic) Banking, West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Banjul, The Gambia, et cetera.

 

The General Manager joined the Bank as a cadet in June 2002 while still at the University of Liberia. Prior to his appointment by the Board of Directors as General Manager, he served in several junior and senior managerial positions including: Senior Vice President for Credit Division, Senior Vice President for Banking Operations, Vice president for Rural Branches, Vice President for Foreign Operations, Vice President for Harbel Branch, Assistant Vice President for Credit Department and Assistant Vice President for Portfolio Administration. Mr. Nyeamene also worked for the Ministry of Education and several other private High Schools as an instructor from 1995-2002. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Elder Council of the Holy City, R2 Community.
